Madhouse Vincent Price Bust

Here's a bust inspired by a painting, inspired by a movie. The cover of Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine painted by Basil Gogos of this character has always been a favorite of mine. The Vincent Price movie was not super great, but had an interesting character, Dr. Death. So the story goes, Price signed on and was supposed to wear prosthetics but declined and suggested that he'd just have his face painted like a skull. I think it worked great as a magazine cover and it would be fun to sculpt an aged Vincent Price. I exaggerated the wrinkle detail beyond Vincen'ts actual appearance to allow for a painter to replicate the magazine cover.
